What are you celebrating? I'll tell you what I am. I spent all of 2022 battling two forms of cancer, and just like that... my life was put on pause, and a dream came to life.
My family and friends encouraged me for ages to turn my passion into a business after all the picnics and parties I hosted each holiday with love. This is how Yeay Day Events came to life. It started with one engagement party when I was diagnosed, and then rolled into picnics to have something to enjoy through the summer since my immune system was low and had to limit my social life.
What my clients didn't know is that by planning a fun day for themselves, they were bringing joy and light to my day as I fought for my life. I prayed in January 2022 that cancer wouldn't break my spirit, and through picnics, I had something to look forward to everyday. Now in remission, I am happy, healthy, and living my dream.
So thank you to everyone who partnered with me trough the hard times, and thank you to everyone I am about to meet in my good times. Know I'll be celebrating you every step of the way!
